Don Voris, left, and Frank Guanciale, present the very last range to roll off the assemebly line at the Newark Stove Company. This was March 1st, 1967 and at that time, the company was the Newark division of The Roper Company. The company made ranges for Roper, Sears and Whirlpool.

The Newark Stove Division closed its doors and the manufacturing was transferred to a plant in North Carolina. The Newark Plant continued to make Sears lawn mowers.
