This ninth grade sock hop was held at Shalmir Watson's house. Such notables were there including: Jim Taggart, Doug Brookhart, Shirley Wilson, Norma York, Gary Kelley, Frances Gaskella, Dixie Hannahs, Benn Hauman and Steve Street. Also “hidden” were Rita McGinnis and Melynda Rockey.
